Writer's Block: Do-over! @ 07:30 pm

If you were given a life do-over card, would you keep it or give it to a friend? If you kept it, would you prefer to be born to the same or different parents? Would you want to keep your memories?

I'm selfish, so I'm keeping it. Sorry friends.

Hard question though. I think I'd go back to when I wa about 10 and start over from there. When I was 10 my mom got a job overseas and so we moved. I could speak the language a little (I'm fluent now) and had family there, but I hated the move from the minute I heard about it.

I was really angry and bitter about the whole thing. When I started school there, I stayed isolated for as long as possible, making only one sort of good friend over the course of my 4 years. I was determined to continue hating it, I developed really bad habits that have stayed with me to this day, and i honestly think that if i had had a different attitude back then, I would be a lot happier now. Probably healthier too. And a whole lot of other great things.

Not to say that I couldn't have changed my life around later on. When we moved back home for example (I was 13). But if I could do anything over again it would be the same people, same circumstances (because really, I terribly lucky in life), except this time I'd smile about it.
